Become a Friend of the Queen Anne Farmers Market!

Did you know that farmers markets have significant “multiplier” effects in retail hubs? Farmers market shoppers spend similar amounts at local stores as they do at the farmers market. Not only do farmers markets increase a community’s “sense of place,” they support the local economy.

Your tax-deductible donation will help us bring another vibrant, successful market to Queen Anne in 2010. The Mayor’s Office of Economic Development is pitching in for staffing costs, but we must raise $10,000 to pay for other expenses, e.g., insurance, permits, fees, signage, safety equipment and printing.
