Applications & Rules
Interested in vending at our 2010 market?
New and returning vendors, please carefully review our 2010 Policies & Guidelines (click here for PDF) before filling out our 2010 Vendor Application (click here for PDF).
Applications are due April 1, 2010. We will accept applications all season long for our waiting list, but we expect to fill up early.
In general, we follow the same rules as the Neighborhood Farmers Market Alliance, whose mission and operations inspired our small, independent market. We do not accept resellers, nonfarm crafts, or flea market items at our market. We give priority to small farms, and strive to have farmers as 70 percent or more of our vendor mix.
Last year, our vendors enjoyed an increase of 10% in sales over 2008. Our vendors had average weekly sales of $640. We had an average of 27 vendors (some with double stalls) and almost 1,000 visitors per market. QAFM customers tend to be curious, educated, and loyal.
Changes for 2010 include an extended season (five additional weeks) and an expanded site with some truck sales availability. We will continue to actively market our vendors and draw new customers to the market with a lively event schedule.
As an independent market, we are open to exploring new relationships and supporting start-ups. If you have a great idea, this may be the place to give it wings.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
